Just some stuff about the technologies..

* What are the main issues in new communications technology from your point of view?

From my point of view, one of the main issues in new communication technology is, that it's slowly starting to consume the lives of very young children more and more. Children should be playing with toys and enjoy being outside and playing in the dirt, but instead they rather have an iPad or iPhone.

* How do we distinguish between old and new communication technologies?

Old communication technologies, from my point of view are the more non-contemporary type of communication. E.g. am radio, storytelling, cave drawings, books, telegraph etc. Whereas new communication technologies are more modern and up to date in the technological world. Everything these days are somehow connected and there is always a way to connect different medias to one device.

* Under what circumstances will new communication technologies become old communication technologies?

I think that once a communication technology has been replaced by a better version, it is then considered an old communication technology. In the world today new communication technologies are constantly becoming old, as we have an ever changing society. Some examples could be a DVD replacing a videotape, a CD replacing the cassette.

* What is your favourite digital technology?   Which analog technologies are still part of your life?

My favorite digital technology  would have to be my iPhone and laptop. Without these two things in my life I would most likely be lost! My iPhone has everything on it, like email, internet, a clock, a digital calender and that's just naming a few. Growing up in a younger family analog technologies aren't a big thing in my life. We have the old analog clocks around the house. E.g. The hickory dickory dock clock!
